Welcome to Frampton Cotterell C of E Primary School, set in the village of Frampton Cotterell on the outskirts of Bristol.
As a Church of England school we have a strong Christian ethos, which underpins school life. We have developed close links with St. Peter’s Parish Church, joining them for their Sunday praise service on special occasions.
There are currently 300 children on roll, organised into 11 classes. We set high expectations for pupils and are committed to helping them flourish academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually and creatively. We provide a broad curriculum with a wide range of extra curricular clubs and enrichment activities.
Our committed team of staff provide excellent pastoral support with all children valued as individuals. Pupils are encouraged to be active participants in our school community. At FCCE, everyone’s contribution is recognised and appreciated.
We strive to work closely with parents, many of whom come into school regularly to help in class.

“Fantastic values and a nurturing environment for our children.”
“I couldn’t be happier with the school and the progress my daughter has made. Mr Barnard is a fabulous head and all of the teachers are brilliant and really care about all of the children. The learning opportunities they offer the kids are really good and varied and my daughter has loved the enrichment days.”
“My son has really enjoyed his primary school years, the final term was amazing and I’m sure he won’t forget it. Thank you FCCE!”
“This is a fab school and I’m very pleased with it”
“A fantastic place for my children to start their education. Wonderful staff who really know and care about the children. Children make great progress and are happy to come to school.”
“As a new boy, joining in a well established class, my son was warmly welcomed. It’s a great school, with good teachers who take time to know their pupils..”
“I think the enrichment days have given both our children a chance to try something new in a supportive and safe environment. They have both tried things that they would not have accessed outside of school. It has also been a great chance to get involved in the school as a parent who can’t make a regular commitment. We remain massive fans of Art Week too! The quality of all the children’s work is amazing!!”
“My daughter has really thrived and thoroughly enjoys going to school. She has really developed a love of learning and that is thanks to the hard work and dedication of the staff. There is a huge range of activities, fun days and extra-curricular activities and they always seem well planned and managed. My husband and I are both really happy with the school.”
“My son enjoys going to school; all the teachers are friendly and really helpful. Mr Barnard is such a great head master. He knows all the children’s names and the parents. Couldn’t ask for a better school for my son”
