FCCE Conker Championships 2016

It is always at this time of year conkers are collected and Mr. Brydon carefully and lovingly prepares in excess of 300 of them for each and every child in school!  The championship doesn’t always default to the more skilful player – luck also plays a part.  This year’s winner was one of our youngest pupils!

Class 11 Assembly

Wow what a Harvest treat when Class 11 showed the school what they had been up to this term… Making soup for homeless; foraging fruit and a great bake off!  We hope you will spend a while enjoying the videos of their exploits.

Dissection!

A video from class 10…

and some photos from class 9.

End of Term 1 Roundup!

Can it be that Term 1 has already come to an end?  One sixth of our year has passed!

Please take a few moments to celebrate some of the good times shared by children in Frampton Cotterell Church of England Primary School, during their first term in their new class…

Pig Heart Boy…!

Please remember that years 5 and 6 are going to be reading this book extensively during the next term.  If you don’t already have a copy, click on the image below to take you to the Amazon website, where you will be able to obtain a copy for a minimum payment of £2.81!  (That’s 1p for the book and £2.80 for the packing and postage!)  Don’t be put off by buying second hand.  In our experience, the books are generally of a very good quality.  The only downside may be the longer postage time!
