RECEPTION TO BRISTOL ZOO
In line with Recptions topic "Animals" a trip was organised to Bristol Zoo. As well as exploring and meeting a range of animals from around the world, the children got a "Polar Experience". This involved a 'polar explorer' greeting the children to take them our of the roaring winds. They learnt about how animals and explorers survive in cold environments, features of polar regons, including weather and locations and the life of an Antartic penguin through the seasons.
