Who are the Friends?
All families are automatically members of the Friends of FCCE when their child joins our school. All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available.
We are fortunate at our school to have a Friends that is and has been an integral part of the school community for many years. In its time the Friends has raised tens of thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education experience and the school’s facilities.
Our Friends committee consists of four Officers: Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and Publications Officer. We also have a number of ordinary committee members to make up the full committee. In addition we have a growing list of volunteers who are not on the committee but are happy to be called upon to help at events.
If you are interested in joining the committee or becoming a volunteer, please do not hesitate to talk to a member of the Committee.
Every little helps so just one hour assisting at an event is invaluable.
